Hudson Resurrection and Denim I Lust After

They are expensive and really different looking, but I still want them. I first saw the Hudson Resurrection jeans at Barneys Co-op in NYC. It figures they didn't have them in Chicago. I tried them on and then realized the price tag was a pretty $995, say what? The jeans are constructed from vintage pairs of jeans and sewn by hand. I normally despise patchwork anything. Patchwork to me or at least how it is usually executed looks like hippies that mask their body odor with patchouli or it looks like Miss Mary Homemaker that has a bun in the oven (figuratively and literally speaking). These jeans don't resemble that or at least the pair I tried on, but I can't afford and even if I could, I don't think I could justify it when there are people in the world starving. These jeans are bitchin though.

(My version of a "Resurrection", in the Barney's Co-Op
fitting room in a pair of the jeans)

Some other jeans I really like, that I probably won't buy, but I like to look at them.
