I Pick My Scabs: Only A Moment In Time

Blogging fascinates me. I read multiple blogs and see blogs that have thousands of followers and I realize that it does take work but what I also know is that it is a very short-lived personality that gets created. It's nice that people have become famous just because of their blogs, but it also buys into the flash in the pan type of fame. The fame that I feel lacks integrity. Kim Kardashian is famous for making a sex tape and having a big ass. So does that mean if I hang out with Paris Hilton and give a homeless guy a blow job I too can be famous? Then we have people that are well known because they can cheekily write about Lanvin's latest collection or the way they put clothes together, even if it winds up being a hideous combination. I am baffled. It is fun to live vicariously through others.

All I know is everyone should blog because the blog world is not saturated like it may appear. There will be a time when these well-known bloggers get bored, give it up or just age out of the trend. I personally know I definitely want to hear about the awesome Proenza Schouler jacket that hot 20-something is wearing, but I don't want to hear about the awesome Proenza Schouler jacket that 60-something is taking off because she's having a hot flash.
