Jeremy Scott for Adidas Teddy Bears, Can I Just Cream My Pants Now

Okay, I love it, I absolutely love it.

"Yo, I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want,
So tell me what you want, what you really really want,
I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want,
So tell me what you want, what you really really want,
I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna really
really really wanna...." (Spice Girls "Wannabe")

I'll tell you what I want, I want these frickin shoes by Jeremy Scott. I started researching Jeremy Scott for Adidas last night because I found a picture of the rainbow Wing shoes he did for them and I went insane. I almost jumped for joy all the way onto my ceiling. I have to fess up to being a sneaker head. I used to spend most of my money on Rudolf Dassler Pumas, Nike SBs (i.e. Gibson edition--yes I bought those), etc and so when I found a picture of the Teddybear sneakers last night I was floored. I also happen to be into Tokyo pop art and Harajuku culture and nothing screams it more than these kicks. I found this info out from none other than Sneaker Freaker, the coolest sneaker magazine ever!

The reason why I love these sneaker and have to have them is because they have something sentimental for me. When I was ten years old I went to an arcade game place (before Dave and Buster's and Gameworks were in existence) called Enchanted Castle. I got enough tickets to win a pink bear, which I named Beary Bear and I was inseparable from him. He was my best friend. As the years wore on, Beary Bear got more and more gray. I still have him, wrapped in one of my baby blankets and he still smells like my childhood. So for me these shoes are very special. Also these shoes are unbelievably freaky and Japaneseque and for that reason they have to be mine.

Jeremy Scott, You Couldn't Have Said it any BETTER, FUCK YOU HAVE A NICE DAY

So now I'm in love with Jeremy Scott, not that I wasn't before, but now I'm more in love. I love the conceptual nature of his most recent collection and I gotta say I wish I owned the "Fuck You" tank top. If I owned that piece I would wear it while I was biking around the city. Honestly I'm so thankful I don't drive a car, and I was actually thinking about moving to LA where a car is as necessary for living as oxygen is.

I bike around the city, use a bike as my car and I have horrible "biker's rage." I'm always astonished by how dumb people are. This one girl yesterday was coming out of a CVS and I had to unfortunately go on the sidewalk because of the pricks that were double parked and she started to walk diagonally. It amazes me the oblivious nature of individuals. The worst is when people are listening to their i-pods or talking on their cellphones. If you are in a supermarket and texting the entire time like I see people do in Whole Foods, it demonstrates how you can't actually "be" and you have to distract yourself from living because being tied to any technology while picking out food is not being in the moment.

I do have to admit I fault people more than I take responsibility. I have biked the opposite way of traffic on a one-way street and then when I am on the same street biking with traffic and I see some other person on their bike biking against traffic, I'm thinking to myself: "What a stupid schmuck."

So in essence I would by ten of those shirts by Mr. Scott and if he made a long-sleeve version, and a turtleneck sweater version I would be really happy. I usually bike through November so I could wear one until then. Oh and if Jeremy Scott made a coat where that saying and pattern was tiled all over the place I could wear that on the bus in the winter, which is the place where people are the biggest idiots of all. Could you also make a shirt with a middle finger on it? Let's face it, sometimes you just want to say "Fuck You, Have a Nice Day."  Brilliant!
