My New Design for a Feather Coat and Getting Shit on by a Pigeon

No offense to PETA, but I dislike pigeons. Not the Nike Sb Pigeons, but the bird, pigeons. For several reasons and yesterday just gave me another reason. On my way to Trader Joes a pigeon shit on my knee cap, not to mention I was riding my bike. I was a moving target and I still got shit on! Now someone told me that getting shit on by a bird is good luck, so maybe I shouldn't hate on the pigeon. Let's face it pigeons aren't the brightest of birds. If they were smart they would get out of the way sooner, I have almost run them over many a times. Even thought I dislike the birds, I wouldn't want to kill one, I would get hurt too. On the bright side I was wearing Juicy Couture jeans that are over fives years old. Now if I had been wearing my PRPs or my Diesel 8b3 Matic, I would have climbed onto the El tracks and bitched that bird out.

My new design for a jacket features feathers, from pigeons. If designers started using rat fur, why not use pigeon feathers (btw I like John Updike), after all they are just rats with wings. I found a coat on mytheresa.com that is insane by Balmain and made out of feathers. If I had the money I would buy this coat and wear it for Halloween. I'm the same thing every year for Halloween, a hooker, because it's easy (no pun intended) so this coat would be perfect.

Those Birds sure know how to ruffle some feathers.

Jeremy Scott, You Couldn't Have Said it any BETTER, FUCK YOU HAVE A NICE DAY

So now I'm in love with Jeremy Scott, not that I wasn't before, but now I'm more in love. I love the conceptual nature of his most recent collection and I gotta say I wish I owned the "Fuck You" tank top. If I owned that piece I would wear it while I was biking around the city. Honestly I'm so thankful I don't drive a car, and I was actually thinking about moving to LA where a car is as necessary for living as oxygen is.

I bike around the city, use a bike as my car and I have horrible "biker's rage." I'm always astonished by how dumb people are. This one girl yesterday was coming out of a CVS and I had to unfortunately go on the sidewalk because of the pricks that were double parked and she started to walk diagonally. It amazes me the oblivious nature of individuals. The worst is when people are listening to their i-pods or talking on their cellphones. If you are in a supermarket and texting the entire time like I see people do in Whole Foods, it demonstrates how you can't actually "be" and you have to distract yourself from living because being tied to any technology while picking out food is not being in the moment.

I do have to admit I fault people more than I take responsibility. I have biked the opposite way of traffic on a one-way street and then when I am on the same street biking with traffic and I see some other person on their bike biking against traffic, I'm thinking to myself: "What a stupid schmuck."

So in essence I would by ten of those shirts by Mr. Scott and if he made a long-sleeve version, and a turtleneck sweater version I would be really happy. I usually bike through November so I could wear one until then. Oh and if Jeremy Scott made a coat where that saying and pattern was tiled all over the place I could wear that on the bus in the winter, which is the place where people are the biggest idiots of all. Could you also make a shirt with a middle finger on it? Let's face it, sometimes you just want to say "Fuck You, Have a Nice Day."  Brilliant!
