LD Tuttle Shaper Boots and Other Boots I Crave

These are by far my favorite over-the knee boots. Supple leather, black nubuck and oh so sexy. I bought them at Shirise, perfect for fall. Boots can make an outfit better. I could wear a trash bag, but still feel amazing with the right boots on. Boots can also be used to kick your enemy in the chin or the shin. The problem I run into with most over the knee boots is they are too baggy around the knee. The LD Tuttle Shapers mold to my leg and don't just go above the knee, but all the way up to the thigh. The elastic is more hidden and a smaller panel than what I saw on the Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots. I loved the Weitzman's as well, but for a bit more money I got boots that I feel will last longer.

Jacket Obsession

If someone asked me what I purchasing or thinking about purchasing best, I honestly could not choose. I am in love with handbags ( so much so that I purchased some things I really shouldn't have), I adore shoes (again spent a lot of money on sneakers that I probably shouldn't have), but one thing I love as much are jackets. I have spent a lot of money on a jacket before and not had any regrets at all. If I was given $2000 to spend in a store I would blow all of the money on a great jacket. I own a lot of great ones, but there are still some that I will continue to lust for. The jackets I lust after I try on in dressing rooms and take photos of myself, so even if I never own it, I will at least "have worn the jacket" in a picture and in some respect that makes me feel like I have ownership. Here some of my favorites.

A Jacket I own:

(All of my own clothes, Rick Owens leather jacket,

(Opening Ceremony Meets Pendleton Men's Jacket, Lykke Li concert t-shirt,

Jackets I wish I owned, but at least I do for five minutes in a Barney's New York dressing room:

Some more jackets I would like to buy:

And then a jacket I regret not buying:

(awesome Marc Jacobs leather jacket, I didn't buy :-(
Perfect and made me feel hot as hell in the Nordstrom dressing room)

The only saving grace for me to be living in a horrible climate where winter sucks ass, is knowing that I will get to wear all of my amazing jackets. After all if I lived in Hawaii, I might be way happier, but when I get SAD (Seasonal Affected Disorder) I comfort myself in a supple Italian leather designer jacket.
